More people will be lost than will be saved. Here’s what Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

Jesus said more people will go to hell than will go to heaven. This teaching is very hard for most people to accept because we have the idea that most people are good people. If you were to walk down the street in most towns and ask what kind of people go to heaven 9 out of 10 would say, “good people go to heaven”.

Well, that is not true. It is not good people that go to heaven, it is saved people that go to heaven. No matter how good you are, you are not good enough to to to heaven. Because even if you look good on the outside, God is judging you on the inside: every thought, word and secret work.

God says, “for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Again, “there is none that doeth right, no not one.” And finally God says, “all of our righteousness is like filthy rags in the sight of God”.

But, whether a man is a good man or a bad man in the eyes of the world means nothing when deciding who goes to heaven.

Jesus said, “except a man be born again, he can not see the kingdom of God”.
